The Development Partnership «ΑΤΤΙΚI DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP » will be realizing the project entitled” “Integrated local action plan for social inclusion and employment of the vulnerable groups in the Municipalities of Markopoulo and Lavreotiki”, in the framework of action 3 “Local actions for the social integration of vulnerable groups” of the Intervention Category 1 “Prevention and tackle  social exclusion of  vulnerable groups” of the Thematic Priority Axis 4:” Complete Integration of all Human Resources into a Society of Equal Opportunities” of the Operational Program “Human Resources Development 2007 – 2013” co-funded by the European Social Fund (ΕSF).

 

It is an integrated programme, aiming to reinforce the local employment for socially vulnerable groups. More specifically, it gives the opportunity to a hundred (100) unemployed people to acquire new knowledge and skills, in order to be able to re-enter the labor market or start their private business. At the same time it supports local businesses allowing them to acquire competitive staff.

 

This is the main goal of the project under the title:  “Integrated local action plan for social inclusion and employment of the vulnerable groups in the Municipalities of Markopoulo and Lavreotiki” realized through the initiative of the Municipalities of Markopoulo and Lavreotiki.

 

The right to participate in the programme is reserved for the unemployed of all genders, registered in the relevant unemployment records of the Greek Manpower Employment Organization (OAED), or in a special list of the same Organisation, with a valid unemployment card, residents of the Municipalities of Markopoulo – Messogea and Lavreotiki and belong to at least one of the following socially vulnerable groups listed further bellow

 

More specifically, in each municipality, the implementation of the programme is expected to have the following results:

 

• 10 Participants will have the opportunity to create their own private enteprise

• 20 Participants will be absorbed as new staff to existing local enteprises

• 20 Participants will establish new Social- Cooperative Enterprises

 

 

Target Groups

 

• People with disabilities

• Immigrants, refugees, repatriates

• Leaders of single-parent households

• Long term unemployed over the age of 45 with low qualifications

• People in poverty/risk of poverty
